late summer daze

Wrote 1775 words on The Bone Box yesterday. And found a workable progress counter–yay! Seeing that bar creep along is a kick. The writing focused on the relationship of the four friends. Thought I’d reach the end of Chapter 2, but find I have one more scene to write. Then it’s on to Chapter 3. I’m finding the scenes are running 2500 words or more. This is good. It tells me I’m getting in the details that need to be there. I tend to write short and often miss things–the usual forest vs. trees issue.

Today is the RWA meeting so I don’t expect to get any words done.
