8032, A Lamentation of Swans. So I’m going to take a week and outline the novel, and then I’m going to write a working synopsis and use it to write the story from beginning to end. A few details might change, but on the whole, I want to stick to a single path through the forest, though the path might curve and wind.
I’m going to spend the weekend working up the outline. I have so much material, more than 60,000 words of actual story, so many variations, and two copy boxes full of notes, all of which I’m ignoring for the purpose of this new beginning. I need to get control of it all.
