7527. I got the job! I can write in the mornings before I leave for the office! The commute’s been reduced to forty minutes! The sun’ll be shining before I leave! Oh boy!
Thursday night movie was Pan’s Labyrinth. Loved it!
February’s here. This weekend must review January and write February’s to do’s. Gosh. I can’t believe I met the goal of finding a new job and reducing my commute already! This serves as a good reminder that once I set my mind to something, I actually do accomplish it. Finishing A Lamentation of Swans seems as unreachable a goal as finding a new job closer to home (without sacrificing salary and benefits) seemed last year, but I am as determined to finish the novel as I was to find a job where I didn’t have to get out of my bed before the crack of dawn just to get to work. Yay me!
